ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel is an absolute scam and staying here was one of the worst experiences imaginable. Do not book this place!

1. The Booking Scam: We booked 17 rooms three months in advance and paid the booking amount. Upon arrival, we were handed the keys to only 14 rooms because the management greedily sold the remaining three to other guests.

2. Disgusting Room Conditions: The rooms we actually got were terrible. They clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests left. The bedsheets and blankets were unwashed, visibly stained, and filthy. Furthermore, several rooms didn't even have windows and felt completely suffocating.

3. Terrible Location: To add to the misery, the hotel is located very far from the main street, making it completely inconvenient.

4. Food Fraud & Extortion: We had booked and paid in advance for our meals, but they did not provide what was promised. At 10:00 PM, the staff flat-out told us we had to eat whatever leftovers they had or go to sleep hungry. They also shamelessly hike up their prices; a standard packaged water bottle that costs Rs. 10 outside was sold to us for double the price.

5. Hostile & Threatening Staff: The staff is incredibly unprofessional and rude. The absolute worst part? If you go to the reception to demand the basic services and rooms you already paid for during booking, the staff will create a massive scene and threaten to call the cops on you.

Save your money, your time, and your dignity. Book literally anywhere else in Ranchi.
If Google allowed to rate in negative I would have done that.

We had a terrible stay and would strongly advise families to avoid this hotel.

1. *Very very bad food*: Both quality and taste were unacceptable.
2. *Broken commitments*: We did advance booking and specifically requested food arrangements. Nothing was arranged on arrival despite repeated follow-ups.
3. *Overcharging*: Tried to sell local company packaged drinking water above MRP.
4. *Unprofessional behavior*: The owner, staff, and overall arrangements were extremely unprofessional. No accountability.
5. *Not family friendly*: They are completely incapable of handling families with basic hospitality and care.
6. *Privacy & Security concerns*: If you only need rooms on an hourly basis this might be the place, but even then please be very careful. They seems like not good aura, privacy and security of your's can be at stake.

Overall, a complete mismatch of promises vs reality. Save your money and time.

Stayed here with decent expectations, but the experience was disappointing overall.

First issue was the delay, even after the check-in time, it took almost 2 hours for the room to be arranged. After a tiring journey, that immediately affected the experience.

The room itself felt poorly designed. There was a large immovable table placed right in front of the bathroom door, making the space feel cramped and inconvenient. On top of that, the room had a strange unpleasant smell that never really went away.

The property may look appealing from outside, but the actual stay experience did not feel comfortable or well managed.

"Dont judge a book by it's cover"... This phrase fits perfectly for this perticular hotel.Was not even willing to give a half star for this hotel as we all had the most pathetic experience here. They took advance payment and made fake promises of serving us chicken and roti for dinner. After waiting for several hours, at 10:30 we came to know with an arrogant tone by the staffs n receptionist that chicken was not available in the market . Never visit here..

Horribly disappointed we were. It's no way a castle, neither located by the lake.As the declared policy stated,...we also provide room for unmarried couples...(please omit 'also')..the castle nestles the hourly fun makers,who don't have an eye for anything faulty or filthy. Otherwise,who would book a room that has just one window that completely opens at the door of another room (room no 204)and anyone can trespass anytime through the glass panels!!
If you ignore personal hygiene,stained linens,foul odour,dirty bathroom,shaky wooden corridor,dusty worn out carpets, irregular services,no commitments, careless attendants, personal privacy and above all your security, only then you're welcome to the royal castle, in a dirty and filthy lane of Ranchi.
