"The stay was clean and the hospitality of the staff was amazing! The Swiss tents were very cozy, spacious, and well-furnished, complete with warm cotton Razais to handle the chilly desert nights. The cultural program and Rajasthani folk dance in the evening were incredible. Camel rides and the camel carts for our elders were organized perfectly, and the authentic regional food was delicious. Watching the sunset and sunrise right from the dunes was a lifetime experience."
Amazing stay♥️✨🪕
Really enjoyed the stay here. The jeep safari and quad biking were super fun. Evening cultural program was nice and lively. Tents were clean and comfortable. Staff was polite. Overall a good desert experience.
Unfortunately, my stay at Shama Desert Camp Jaisalmer
was disappointing and did not meet expectations.
Food:
The food quality was really bad. The options were very limited, and the taste was disappointing. Some items did not seem fresh, and the overall presentation was poor.
Breakfast, in particular, lacked variety and quality compared to other hotels.
Room & Amenities:
The room was not properly prepared. Several essential items were missing or of poor quality, Cleanliness was not up to standard, and housekeeping attention was inconsistent during the stay, which affected comfort.
Service:
The service was the most disappointing part of the experience. Staff was not response and communication was unclear. Requests took longer than expected, and at times the staff seemed uninterested in resolving issues. The check-in and overall guest handling felt unprofessional.
Overall:
Based on my experience, never stay at Shama desert camp jaisalmer ….
after seeing the review we felt that that it is a good place but the images they showed and the actual room had a difference of day and night.
they have have very bad rooms and very bad bathrooms as if they are not even cleaned.
they scam at the desert safari as if they will show us 3 points but not even 1 of it showed us the jeep droped us at a place and the driver went away saying that he has no time and the prices are so high which is not worth for that type of service.
the food was good and the cultural program was also good but when we asked them for extra snacks they refused very rudly.
at the end of the not a place to visit............
Location and programme was good. It was a wholesome experience staying there. Hygiene and cleanliness is well maintained. Only issue was that drinking water supply was very limited only one bottle per person. Desert safari was also funnn...
Overall it was good 😊!!
