I would surely recommend this place for happy stay and healthy breakfast option. Home cooked meal by aunt and uncle is always available for any kind of help. Easy access for fort Kochi and water metro station and ro ro service. We have been thrice there and never disappointed . Always our go to place option for stay . Thanks Ramesh mullan uncle and aunt for your service.
Into a bylane, building with a residential complex appearance, hotel has excellent rooms. Spacious, well equipped, decently maintained, rooms provide for comfortable stay. Staff are minimal and do cleaning routine regularly. Limited vehicle parking is available, and is a boon for self driven tourists, as most other properties lack parking. Dining area is on ground floor and upper floors have access via a lift 🛗. An easy and welcoming registration process is nice. Quiet, away from crowds wonderful place for a break.
We had planned on staying at Pepper Route after inspecting the rooms however on our arrival the owner apologised telling us that the building was in blackout and we couldn't stay. (It was end of Ramadan and holiday so no repairs until a day later, at earliest) The owner was more than helpful in helping us find alternate accommodation
So he deserves some positive feedback for that. Thank you
Homely atmosphere.
Traditional Kerala food and ambience.
Friendly staffs and clean rooms.
Best place for peaceful stay in Kochi.
Highly recommended.
Location of the hotel is the only positive.
Not value for money. The rooms are not having good ventilation, AC remote does not work, so you can't control the temperature. You're forced to live in that room with what it is set to.
Some people may get headache due to bad ventilation.
They offer breakfast which is charged(optional) as part of booking. I paid roughly 350 rs, but the breakfast is just idly and omelette. This is disappointing. On my past experience across several tourist places, the breakfast fast offered with multi options like poori/chapathi, vada, idly, dosa, cut fruits.
What they offered is not even 50% of what I mentioned here. If room and food is not good, customer won't get a pleasant experience to recommend others and revisit the hotel..,
