Run by a warm Galo family, the staff are attentive and happy to share stories, recipes and travel tips. Aalo General Hospital is within a short 10–15 minute drive.
Nearby sights include Sipu and Patum hanging bridges, the serene Siyom riverside, Ramakrishna Mission campus and traditional villages like Kabu and Darka; day trips to Kane Wildlife Sanctuary and Pasighat’s Siang Viewpoint are popular. Experiences range from village walks, orange‑orchard visits and birding to seasonal angling and white‑water rafting on the Siyom/Siang.
Savor smoked pork with bamboo shoot, steamed rice, organic greens, lukter and homemade apong (rice beer).
Getting here: Fly to Pasighat (nearest) or Dibrugarh; continue by road to Aalo via Pasighat. APSTS buses and shared sumos run from Itanagar, Pasighat and Silapathar. By train, arrive at Murkongselek (Jonai) or Silapathar, then hire a taxi/shared sumo to Aalo.

Linya Homestay is wrapped in warmth and especially the owner of this place is the most soft spoken and lovely lady of all. Rooms are clean, well ventilated, has air conditioning and the food is home cooked and the veggies are from their kitchen garden. All in all a lovely place.
