Had an excellent experience at Hotel Sandhya in Kasol. We did a full hotel show-around and were very impressed with the property—definitely one of the best luxury options in Parvati Valley. The rooms are elegant and the mountain views are stunning. To top it off, we had a very delicious lunch at their restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium stay!
Excellent service. Family room is quite big and spacious. Kids loved it. Food quality and quantity is really good. Very near to local market also hotel located just beside main road..
The only thing about this hotel is the location. Rest in every other aspect it lack basics.
Rooms average, food average, hospitality poor, no buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner, poor staffing.
Ordered a coffee and they denied saying it will take too much time.
Would not recommend to anyone, atleast for family a no to go place.
My stay at Sandhya Kasol during my New Year trip with my cousins was truly a wonderful experience. We stayed here through the JustWravel travel company, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s location is excellent, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a peaceful vibe that perfectly complements Kasol’s charm.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The food was really good, with a variety of tasty options that made every meal enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the night bonfire, which created such a warm and memorable atmosphere, especially during the New Year celebrations.
Overall, Sandhya Kasol offers a perfect blend of great food, comfort, and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kasol, especially if you’re traveling with friends or family for a special occasion like New Year’s.
Disappointing Experience and Poor Service Standards
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided during our stay.
Firstly, we were asked to share towels because the hotel claimed they did not have enough. When we requested additional towels, we were told, “you haven’t paid enough.” Basic amenities such as towels are standard hospitality requirements and should not be conditional. This response was both unprofessional and inappropriate.
During breakfast, when I requested hot water, the staff responded with visible annoyance. Additionally, when we asked for two spoons to be sent to the room, the staff questioned us with “kyu chahiye,” which felt unnecessary and discourteous.
The breakfast spread was also highly inadequate. Vegetarian options were limited to paratha and fruits. Jain food options were extremely restricted, and when we politely requested additional items, the request was denied without explanation.
Overall, the experience reflected poor hospitality standards, lack of courtesy, and insufficient attention to basic guest comfort. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving service quality and staff training.
