Hotel Vinayak, Gwalior Station Road was truly an excellent place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. When it was time to leave, my feet simply didn't want to move—I had grown so comfortable there. The food arrangements were excellent, and the delicious Maharashtrian-style cuisine made the experience even more memorable. My worst experience in Gwalior so far. The staff behavior was extremely unprofessional and discourteous. They refused to provide a room despite having a valid ID from Morena district, without offering any reasonable explanation. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or customer care. The person at the reception was particularly rude, disrespectful, and lacked basic courtesy. The entire experience was disappointing and unpleasant. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel and consider better alternatives for a comfortable stayer in gwalior 😡😡
I would like to raise a complaint regarding the condition of the room provided. The room was not as shown in the MakeMyTrip photos. It had a strong unpleasant smell and was poorly maintained. The bathroom tiles were cracked and there was fungus on the walls, which made the space unhygienic. Some tiles were also broken and the overall cleanliness was not acceptable. Additionally, there were open electrical wires in the room, which is extremely dangerous and poses a high risk of electric shock. This level of maintenance is unacceptable and not what was promised at the time of booking.
The hotel and rooms appear thoughtfully designed and, if maintained to higher standards, could easily match a 3-star property. Unfortunately, maintenance and hygiene standards are very poor, which affects the overall experience.
On a positive note, the restaurant and terrace club are very good and stand out as the best aspects of the hotel.
Connectivity of the hotel is best, its nearby railway station and in proximity of every area of city.
Staff is very supportive, food is very good too.
