HOTEL JB RESIDENCY & BANQUET HALL

I recently stayed at this hotel and booked two rooms for my visit. Overall, my experience was good and I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and the staff were polite, helpful and professional throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.

However, there were some issues with the air conditioning in one of the rooms. It did not cool the room as expected, which made it a little uncomfortable, especially during the night. We also faced a few minor inconveniences, but they were not major enough to affect our entire stay.

Apart from these issues, everything else was satisfactory. The rooms were spacious and clean, housekeeping did a good job and the facilities met our expectations. The location was convenient and the overall service was decent.

I appreciate the efforts of the hotel staff and hope the management looks into the AC issue and the small maintenance concerns. With these improvements, the hotel can provide an even better experience for its guests. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at J B Residency with my family during our Manali trip. We stopped in Chandigarh for a night, and the experience was excellent from check-in to check-out. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

The staff was extremely polite, professional, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Lakhbir Singh Sidhhu for his exceptional hospitality and friendly nature. He made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and went above and beyond to assist us.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chandigarh. Truly deserving of 5 stars. Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!

Very disappointing stay. The room was in extremely poor condition. The air conditioner was not working, and even after providing a cooler, the issue was not resolved. The bed sheets had visible stains and appeared unclean. The WC flusher was not functioning properly, and the shower was also not working. Basic maintenance and hygiene standards were completely lacking. Overall, the room was uncomfortable and not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Excellent stay with warm hospitality

I stayed at Hotel JB Residency and Banquet Hall for a long duration, and my experience was very comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and suitable for both short and long stays.

What truly stood out was the friendly and cooperative staff. They were always polite, helpful, and made sure I felt at home throughout my stay. Any requests were handled promptly, which made my long stay stress-free.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and welcoming, and the service quality is commendable. I would definitely recommend Hotel JB Residency to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Only if i could give lower than one star. Booked urgent accommodation with family and while making the booking no information on the requirement of identity proof mentioned. Arrived at the hotel late at night to check in and was asked for id proof for every individual checking in, which is understandable but than the customer service person started asking for international proof of identity which I would like to know who carries it everyday and everywhere in their pocket. Tried to give multiple proofs including international passport, e arrival card, pr information but was denied everything. My question to the management remains.. i appreciate you guys taking mandatory precautions and identity verifications but why would you not mention the requirements while the booking is being made online and hassle the customers late at night when they are in urgent need of accommodation and make no exceptions. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.
