The rooms at Abhilasha Residency are clean, tidy, and equipped with all modern amenities. The rooms offer a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The room service is excellent. The breakfast and dining facilities are impressive, featuring a wide variety of dishes. Both the breakfast and meals are delicious, flavorful, and served piping hot. The hotel premises are clean and aesthetically pleasing. Parking facilities are available. The entire staff is well-informed and helpful.

The hospitality was truly excellent and the staff was very caring and supportive throughout our stay. The food was delicious with great taste and quality, and we really enjoyed every meal. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the overall experience made our family vacation very memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Manali for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
I had a very disappointing experience at Abhilashi Hotel & Spa, Manali. We checked in on 23rd March around 6 PM at what is claimed to be a four-star property. We were initially allotted a room on the third floor. Due to the cold weather, I requested that the heater be turned on, but despite raising the issue multiple times (around four complaints), no one attended to it and the room remained extremely cold.
We proceeded for dinner, only to find that most of the items listed on the menu were unavailable due to low occupancy. The staff insisted we order basic food like dal, rice, and roti instead. After some persuasion, they agreed to prepare one paneer dish, but the food quality was very poor and seemed stale.
After dinner, we again requested them to check the heater. Eventually, a staff member came and confirmed it was not working. At around 10:30 PM, we were asked to shift rooms from the third floor to the second floor, which was inconvenient and the new room was smaller.
The next morning, we were surprised to find that there was no buffet breakfast due to fewer guests. Only a limited selection of items was provided, which again did not feel fresh. Unfortunately, after consuming the food, my wife and child fell ill, experiencing stomach pain, acidity, and fever, which disrupted our entire day’s plans. We are grateful to our driver, Sunil, who helped arrange medicines from a nearby medical store.
On 24th March, I requested simple food (dal and rice) to be delivered to our room as my family was unwell, but the hotel initially refused, citing buffet service. Only after an argument did they agree to send food to the room.
Due to these issues, we decided to cut short our trip and checked out on the morning of 25th March. However, the receptionist delayed our departure, insisting on payment confirmation from K Travels, which was highly unprofessional and frustrating.
Overall, this was a very poor experience. The staff was unresponsive, the service was substandard, and the food quality was unacceptable. A hotel’s service should not depend on the number of guests staying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and request that appropriate action be taken.
